Cedar Point Golf Course at the Patuxent River Naval Air station first opened for play in 1964. The course was designed by Ault, Clark & Associates.

This course's features opend and winding fairways, which are located amid a fairly wooded area. Guests are not allowed to play the course unless accompanied by military personnel. Retired military personnel are allowed to play the course.
